The Gospel

“So do not worry about tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” -Matthew 6:34

The principal of our son’s catholic school talked about when him and his wife found out they were having twins on their sixth pregnancy.  They already had 5 children at that point.  He reflected how they were blessed to have two more kids and it was simply about making room in their family.

His story spoke to me in the sense that the school made room for our son when we enrolled him for kindergarten.   It was the first time in many years the school had enough kids for two classes for kindergarten.  The school didn’t have enough classrooms.  To accommodate for the second class, the school converted the library into a classroom.  It was simply about making room for the children.

This picture is a testament to the school making room for all these children including ours regardless of the challenges to make it happen.
